Keith Emerson in your studio
We all know Keith Emerson, the iconic British keyboard player from Emerson, Lake and Palmer (and the Nice). Well, a company called Knucklebonz has a Keith Emerson figurine as part of it’s “rock Iconz” series.
Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) is portrayed in this limited edition sculpture with his signature keyboard. Combining unearthly sounds with classical influences, Emerson has carved out his position as a Rock Icon.
Other than having an unnatural penchant for the letter Z, Knucklebonz makes a number of other rock figurines, but this is the only one that includes a full Moog Modular! Keith is posed in front of the Moog in all his tightpants glory. The figurine isn’t cheap, at $149, but it is 12″ tall (1/9 scale), hand made and is part of a limited edition of 3000.

I’m nut sure whether this is incredibly cool or incredibly ridiculous. I’ll let you decide.
While you’re thinking about that, check out this video of Keith Emerson laying it out on a Moog modular at Moogfest, with an intro by none other than the man himself, Bob Moog:

My favourite musician. I won’t buy the statue, but if I had to buy a musicians statue for whatever reason, it would be this one.
