Trombone + flamethrower = all kinds of awesome.

Trombone players often get a bad rap, so trombone player/DIYer Jonathan Crawford decided to really step up to the plate and do something about it.

Jonathan took a barbecue ignition system, a propane tank and a temperature gauge, combined them with a spare trombone that he had, and built himself a fully-functioning flamethrower. He says:

“I built a flamethrower trombone just for fun. I want to build more fire breathing instruments, but I’m a poor college kid”.

The temperature gauge tells him when his horn lines are burnin’ up just a little too much (sorry, I had to). Here it is in action:

    This is really cool but so dangerous. My sixth student was looking up information on how temperature affects the tromobone and we looked at this. You should run a disclaimer that don’t do this at home.
