The secret lair of Hans Zimmer

Hans Zimmer is the famous German composer known mainly for his film scores – He’s done about a hundred of them, such as Rain Man, The Lion King, Crimson Tide, The Thin Red Line, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon, The Dark Knight, Sherlock Holmes and most recently, Inception.

Hans is especially gifted at integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements, and has won four Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, a Classical BRIT Award, and an Academy Award. He’s even ranked Number 72 on a list of the Top 100 living geniuses.

Super photographer Trey Ratcliff got a chance to visit Hans Zimmer’s studio, and took some beautiful shots, all in HDR. Click on the pictures to see larger versions, enjoy:
