Moog: When you’re having more than one

Edd Kalehoff is a noted keyboard player, having been featured in the Moog documentary, and he was also the keyboardist for several albums by a band called The Roches. He was also the composer of many musical cues for the game show “The Price is Right” (it’s rumored that he makes about $250,000 per year for these), ABC News, Monday Night Football and many, many others.

He did a video spot for Schaefer Beer in the 1970′s featuring a Moog modular synth – with Edd jamming on the Schaefer jingle.

The theme of the commercial was noteworthy (“Schaefer: The beer to drink when you’re having more than one!”), but I also thought that the pairing of this commercial with some pretty crazy moog-ishry was pretty interesting. Here’s the video:

I’d say that Edd had definitely had more than one in this video!
