Awesome synth guitar performance

Submitted by on December 28, 2009 – 7:07 pm 3 Comments

Playing guitar on a synthesizer has been a cliche since the 80′s when Jan Hammer ripped it up on the theme to Miami Vice. I rarely hear synth guitar that I like, but this ad-lib performance by Ronald Jenkees is pretty impressive.

Pretty fine performance, isn’t it? Ronald adds:

Some have asked about the “low notes” that come out when I hit those two keys up top – those are guitar effects built in the patch and for whatever reason, Yamaha put those effects on the high keys.

You can hear and download more of his music on his website.
