NS-10s are very non-flat compared to a lot of the pro-grade monitors out there RJD2 could afford (they're one reason why we have the "disco smile" EQ curve in so much music). However, like any monitor, if you spend enough time on them you learn their little eccentricities and can mix some great stuff, plus since they've been used so often there are little well-known tricks of the trade on ns10's that'll help you handle your bass better and some other stuff.
