Face the music – literally.

Daito Manabe is a computer programmer, artist, and all-around crazy DIY guy. He and some friends have interfaced some music with their faces.

The interface sends electrical impulses to muscles on their faces in time with the music, all twitching in a strange, synchronized way:

The performance, direction, comcept, composition, sound design and programming was set up by Daito Manabe, and the (brave) performers are Yasushi Fukuzawa, Rie Yoshioka, Muryo Homma, and Yosuke Ushigome.

Daito answers the question that we’re all asking: “Yes. It is painful. but not as much as you think.”
