Nine Inch Nails Selling gear on eBay

Submitted by on November 30, 2009 – 9:56 am One Comment

Trent Reznor that Nine Inch Nails played their last ever live show in September, and now it seems as though he might be living up to that claim by selling off the band’s equipment.

Some of the items are up for sale on eBay, and “hundreds” of more pieces are expected to be put up over the next few weeks. It’s mostly guitars right now, but we can expect expect keyboards, amplifiers, drums, staging, cases, cables, rack and outboard gear, guitar effects, and pedal boards to be up soon.

Trent says:

We’ve been going through the NIN touring and studio rigs and are getting rid of a large selection of gear and equipment the band is no longer in need of. We do not know which (if any) tour these items are from unless specified, nor can we get any items autographed, so please do not ask.

The auction items can be found right here. You can also find vintage synths with our auction finder right here.

funny.. there is nothing “vintage” about a bunch of almost new guitar and basses for auction.. it seems more like a scheme to raise money by selling a bunch of new “NIN” instruments to suckers, er, i mean. fans
