Synthesizer graffiti
When I see graffiti, I usually get as mad as hell, but I saw something today that make me second guess this reaction, just for an instant.
Liam Devowski is an artist from San Fransisco, California. He’s part of a group called Neon Gray, who describe themselves as “a multidisciplinary art and design kinship from Baltimore, MD and San Francisco, CA.” They mostly focus on typography, photography, print, packaging, web, analogue design and art direction.
Well, Liam has run around the neighborhood putting graffiti on walls, in books and on scraps of paper. This is no ordinary graffiti mind you, this is synthesizer graffiti!
Check out some of his work:

Only a total synth geek would think synthesizers painted on walls are cool, but color me impressed. Puts a new meaning on the phrase “Casio Rocks!”, doesn’t it?

Thia is some great synth graffiti!!! I’m definitely not partial to the run of the mill tagging, but some of the art is actually quite BEAUTIFUL!!!
Frankly, I do not support graffiti though it’s an urban trend, but the artwork are quite creative.
Liam – consider this an invitation to graffiti our building if you ever find yourself in London England.
